We also support Dolly’s Dream to help change the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.
About the role:
Reporting into the eSmart Engagement Manager, the eSmart Learning Content Designer will assist in designing visually engaging learning materials and assets for various digital platforms. This role is perfect for someone who has a strong eye for design and layout, experience with eLearning tools, and a passion for creating accessible and inclusive learning experiences. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with instructional designers, developers, and subject matter experts to create educational content that is both informative and visually compelling.
You would be responsible for:
- Create visual assets and layouts for learning content across multiple platforms,
- Design and develop interactive visual elements using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite,
- Design and edit PowerPoint (or other presentation types such as Menti) presentations for training and instructional purposes,
- Manage and organise design assets for Learning Management System (LMS) content,
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all visual design, adhering to accessibility guidelines (such as WCAG) to create content that is usable by all learners, including those with disabilities.
Experience required:
- Experience in developing eLearning content for educators and learner (school students aged 4 – 17 years) using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate, with an emphasis on user experience and visual engagement (highly desirable).
- Proven experience creating visual learning materials for digital platforms, demonstrated through a portfolio of work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Procreate.
- Experience with eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms, or willingness to learn.
- Strong understanding of content management systems and/or learning management systems, and experience managing content.
