ROLE: Estimator

SALARY: £35,000 – £45,000

LOCATION: Ringwood

A market leading and award winning specialist contractor who operate both as Main and sub-contractor looking to employ an Estimator due to an full order book of work and and increase in enquiries. They are very well recognised in their field, working on sites, project / package values typically £2M – £10M.

Responsibilities:

• Estimating costs and commercial risks of projects at the bid stage
• Co-ordination of estimating from other departments and help link the scope, programme, risks and technical submission in generating a cohesive price in formats that suit both the tender submission and the internal Company approval processes
• Co-ordination of subcontractor bids to tie in to Company bidding to clients
• Using standard techniques and experience to scrutinise tender estimates to ensure their competitiveness

Ideal candidate:

• Candidate will ideally have at least 3 year experience estimating Construction or civil engineering projects
