Company Overview: Join our commercial building team, a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality replacement UPVC windows and doors. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Estimator to join our commercial contracts team.Role and Responsibilities: As an Estimator within our commercial contracts team, you will play a crucial role in providing detailed costings for tenders and quotations related to PVCu windows, doors, and associated products. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Detailed Costings: Prepare comprehensive and accurate costings for both tenders and quotations, ensuring all specifications and client requirements are met.
• Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best possible prices, maintaining the balance between cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Client Interaction: Manage relationships with clients, main contractors, and material suppliers, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Project Involvement: Contribute to the overall success of the commercial contracts team by supporting various project phases from inception to completion.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of the PVCu windows industry or a background in building materials. This knowledge is essential for accurate estimating and effective communication with suppliers and contractors.
• Experience: Previous experience in estimating or sales support within a builders merchant environment or a commercial construction contractor. This experience will provide you with the skills needed to excel in this role.
• Organisational Skills: Strong planning and organisational abilities to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members.
