Estimator – DoncasterApproach Personnel are pleased to be working with a reputable Ground Engineering and Civils contractor to recruit an Estimator as part of their pre-construction team, working on lucrative UK projects.This Estimator role focuses around developing indepth, work-winning cost, labour and material analyses for Piled Retaining Wall tenders, bids and estimates for potential and existing clients.Day-to-DayAs an Estimator, here’s what your day could look like:– Analysing site drawings, photos and survey reports in order to produce accurate and fair projections of cost, material and labour– Working alongside the rest of the pre-construction and bid team to ensure pipelines, service quality and timescales are managed effectively– Liaising with contractors and suppliers to acquire realistic costing for materials and labour– Being a vital point of contact for clients regarding their projects, maintaining open lines of effective communication throughout each contractAbout You– Previous experience in a ground engineering, ground investigation or geotechnical based role– Proven experience in an Estimating role– Self-sufficient and Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and desire to progress– Computer and Software Literate– Full UK Clean Driving LicenseSalary and Contract Details– Competitive Salary c.£40,000+ per annum depending on experience– Car Allowance of £400 per month– 34 Days Annual Leave inc.
