Estimator – Redruth
A fantastic permanent opportunity awaits for an Estimator to join a local property services contractor! This contractor provides a complete range of facilities management services on projects from £50k to £50m. Don’t miss out on this unique chance to grow your career and make an impact in the industry. This estimating position would suit a Quantity Surveyor who has estimating experience.

Responsibilities:

– Actively monitor tender portals for relevant projects and establish contact
Review and evaluate all tender enquiries for completeness and accuracy -[
– Administrate correspondence and tender documentation throughout the supply chain -[
– Organise and attend site visits with suppliers and subcontractors -[
– Obtain pricing in a timely manner to meet with submission deadlines -[
– Review and evaluate all project costs and provide a complete price submission -[
– Assess the levels of business risk on each project -[
– Compile and provide detailed handover information for all successful bids to the operations team -[
– Monitor the various stages of all successful bids to ensure costs are kept in line with the forecast -[
– Co-ordinate and manage the bid process from start to finishRequirements:

– Proven experience in a similar position -[
– JCT and NEC contract awareness -[
– Construction related qualification -[
– Relevant driving licence
