RJ McLeod is one of Scotland’s leading civil engineering contractors, with extensive experience in renewable energy, highways, and marine infrastructure projects.The goal is to ensure that projects are cost-efficient and within budget, while also helping the company secure new business.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and other resources.
  • Review and analyse tender documents, contracts, and drawings. Prepare and submit tenders and proposals to clients.
  • Identify potential project risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Provide detailed reports on costs and expenditures, helping ensure that projects are delivered within budget.

Skills and Experience

  • Preferably a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 5 years’ experience in contracting. Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in civil engineering or construction
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills to assess costs and project viability.
