EstimatorKentPermanent, Full TimeAs the Estimator you will work closely with the preconstruction team in the compilation and submission of winning tenders for a range of projects up to £20m across various sectors.Day to day duties:

• Arrange site inspections
• Provide accurate budgets/cost plans
• Provide detailed “take-off” and Bill of Quantities (BQ)
• Work on traditional Plan and Specification, Design and Build and possibly Partnered Contracts
• Obtain competitive prices for materials and sub-contract packages
• Oversee or complete quote analysis comparisons
• Check and amend rate/price build-ups where necessary

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as the Estimator with either a regional / national contractor
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
