District heat networks contribute to 2% of the UKs total heat, and my client are looking to assist in the expanding the sector to hit the governments 20% target. They cover the whole project lifecycle, from development to construction and are expanding rapidly.In this role, you will initially be working primarily on the tender stage of projects – estimating and costing the prices of above ground district heating works on systems across the UK. It is an office-based role with occasional site visits.This is the ideal role for an estimator with a mechanical background, looking to train into the energy sector. – securing a set of futureproof skills. You will be driven and motivated by career progression, as my client will provide training and development on any career goals you have, along with excellent progression potential and a generous package including healthcare and bonuses.The Role:

• Estimating costs for district heating projects across the UK.
• Project requirement analysis – with accurate estimate creations and subsequent project management,
• Working on above-ground works, connecting buildings to district heating piping.
• Initially you will be working primarily on the tendering stage of projects with a movement to live projects.
• Tender management and assistance.

The Candidate:

• Estimating experience – with a mechanical background.
• Motivate to train into district heating, as well as having personal career goals.
