Current turnover is over £50m per annum and they currently complete packages ranging in value from £1m up to £30m each on a mixture of residential, commercial, educational, and leisure projects throughout the South East of the UK. This business prides itself on its long-term client relationships combined with its traditional roots. I would highly recommend this business as a well-respected name in this industry, and this opportunity not only provides a stable working environment but future potential to progress into a managing estimator role. It is worth pointing out, that this business very rarely needs to recruit, and this opportunity has only arisen due to retirement within the team.ABOUT THE ROLEOur client is looking to strengthen their existing preconstruction team by adding an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator to their ranks.The opportunity will involve the usual duties such as putting together tenders for small to large scale concrete frame (and associated groundwork) packages in and around London for developers and main contractor within the residential, commercial, educational, industrial, leisure, and other sectors too. Usual package values you will be expected to target could range anywhere from £1m up to £30m and some or all of the following duties will apply:

• Preparation of tender submissions
• Measuring and take-offs from drawings
• Producing bills-of-quantities
• Cost Planning
• Pre and post Contract meetings with clients to sell not only the price but the reason they should pick your business over others too
• Build-up of tender price from first principles based on plans, programme, and scope of works

REQUIREMENTSFor this opportunity, I am looking for individuals who have previous experience working for RC / Concrete Frame and Groundwork subcontractors in the UK in an estimating capacity.It is important you have the knowledge of pricing and producing tenders for Concrete Frame and Groundwork packages in and around the South East and London to be considered.That is it. I’m happy to talk to anyone who has the above.REWARDS AND BENEFITSDue to the nature of this opportunity, I am looking to target individuals currently earning anywhere from £70,000 to £100,000 per annum.Salaries will be negotiable at the point of the interview depending on the level of experience you have gained.With the basic salary, our client offers the usual package of car allowance, pension, bonuses, and similar on a PAYE basis.
