Job Title: Estimator

You will be backed by a large multi-national group whilst working for a small, tightly knit and highly specialist group business. Combining a range of materials to create structural solutions with engineered timbers, hot rolled steel frames and panelised systems.

Clients come to this business for out of the box solutions used to create memorable buildings in the residential, education, commercial and leisure sectors. As Estimator you will be responsible for reading from detailed construction drawings to perform accurate take offs and cost assessments to go into bid packages for main contractors and developers.

You could come from a construction background or other structural system such as timber frame or modular building. This company will offer an incredible opportunity to develop alongside a very experienced team and to put your mark on an impressive project portfolio.

The Estimator Role:

• Provide detailed cost estimates for structural framing solutions using hot rolled steel and engineered timber
• Reviewing tender documentation and extracting submission requirements
• Review contract documents and identify key risks
• Manage turnaround on enquiries, working with your colleagues to prioritise work flows
• Preparation of BOQ’s and scope of works
• Assist in developing value engineering solutions
