That’s why our logistics, air, sea/ocean freight forwarding, road haulage & distribution and warehousing solutions are not only flexible but are tailored to meet clients’ individual and ever-changing requirements.The purpose of this role is to ensure the European Insurance claims are dealt with in a correct & timely manner and to ensure that our organisation provides a service fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements, including environmental legal compliance and customer expectations.

• Review and log all claims received in accordance with internal process
• Investigate all claims, through paperwork, evidence gathering
• Prepare claim correspondence on questions of coverage and claim value
• Negotiate and settle claims within specified authority
• Liaise with Customers and keep them updated through the process
• Liaise with Suppliers for settlement of claims
• Management reporting of claims

• Excellent customer service
• Excellent written communication
• Ability to prioritise and refer issues
• Previous experience in European Insurance Claims is desirable
• Background within freight forwarding / CMR insurance.
• Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word & Excel
• Ability to learn new systems easily
• Follow the companies SOP’s for compliance
• Ability to work with others as part of a team
• Highly numerate
• Good organisational skills to manage workload
• Ability to work under pressure
• High attention to detail
