We connect them with over 600+ service providers of truck parking, vehicle washing and road tolls to simplify fleet management and drive revenues for our service partners.We plan to invest heavily and develop our technology to continue to grow our network across Europe – making it an exciting and rewarding time to be part of our continuous success story.The European Marketing Coordinator role is key in driving SNAP’s growth and success across Europe. The role spearheads digital marketing initiatives, manages agency relationships – ensuring effective use and ROI, and leverages insight to inform not just marketing strategic decision making, but operational as well. Their efforts will be instrumental in expanding our brand presence, engaging customers effectively – considering language and cultural differences, and maximising SNAP’s revenue opportunities across Europe.This role has significant importance in both acquiring new customers and activating its existing customers. Europe has been identified as the largest opportunity for SNAP to grow both its fleet and Service Partner customer bases. This role will inform and impact the marketing strategy and tactic choice and their implementation. It will also support the activation of SNAP’s existing European customer bases, driving utilisation in to its European Network.Job responsibilities will include:

  • Manage SNAP’s European agency relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing campaigns and initiatives are maintained at all times.
  • Attend weekly agency meetings, providing them with an update on the status of tasks being worked upon and obtaining their progress against pre-determined SLA’s.
  • Coordinate the activities and suggestions from multiple agencies, aligning to the internal SNAP teams resource availability.
  • Review all output from European agencies against set objectives, whilst ensuring it portrays the SNAP brands effectively and is aligned to our brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Attend SNAP Network team sessions and standups, learning and sharing their focusses and campaign activity with the wider Marketing Team.
  • Implement strategies to gain awareness in European markets to foster and encourage positive sentiment to all the SNAP Account brands.
  • Conduct market research to gather information and understand our target audiences’ needs and preferences to gain a greater knowledge of how our European audiences differ to the UK, informing future marketing activities as a direct result.
  • Monitor European competitor, industry, and customer activity, bringing insight into the Marketing Team and wider business to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Liaise with European printers and suppliers to fulfil all SNAP Account’s European location signage, marketing material, merchandise, and staff uniform requirements.
  • Attend European industry events, measuring their appropriateness and value potential for future exhibiting.
  • Attend European industry events, supporting the sales functions of the business, arranging existing and potential customer and supplier meetings.
  • Create materials, pre, during and post European events, showcasing SNAP’s attendance and participation.
  • Support in the planning, implementation and reporting of SNAP’s own events, including attendance in person where instructed.
  • Obtain quotes and translations from professional language services and coordinate their implementation.
  • Lead SNAP’s European account-based advertising activity, identifying targets, the creation and obtaining of content and measuring success.
  • Obtain translations, format templates and schedule the sending of regular European email marketing materials.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends within European markets, highlighting key observations to the executive management team.
  • Assist the Marketing Team with any other ad hoc duties on request.

Skills and experience required:

  • Has quantifiable experience gained in an equivalent marketing type role, with experience in the logistics industry being a bonus.
  • Possesses broad digital marketing experience, including digital paid, content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, with continual enhancement of personal knowledge.
  • Project management skills.
  • Negotiation and relationship management with external agencies and suppliers.
  • Has experience of working with and managing marketing agencies.
  • Experience using email marketing systems.
  • Understanding of content marketing principles and strategies to create valuable and relevant content for the target audience.
  • Valid passport that allows travel across Europe and to the UK when required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM, SharePoint and other relevant electronic digital portal proficiency.
  • Foundation to intermediate Adobe Suite proficiency.
  • Proficiency in European languages is advantageous but not mandatory.
