Muddy Sneakers Event Assistant Volunteer

Overview: Join our passionate team at Muddy Sneakers and help us give every child in North Carolina access to the outdoors! We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to represent our organization at various events. As an Event Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in promoting our mission, engaging with the public, and supporting our outreach efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Represent Muddy Sneakers at community events, fairs, and festivals.
• Engage with attendees, answer questions, and provide information about our experiential outdoor education programs.
• Distribute informational materials, brochures, and promotional items.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down event booths and displays.
• Collect contact information from interested individuals and potential supporters.
• Share stories and testimonials about the impact of our work.
• Encourage event participants to get involved, donate, or volunteer.
• Work closely with the event coordinator to ensure a smooth and successful presence at each event.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and approachable demeanor.
• Passion for the mission and values of Muddy Sneakers.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule.
• Previous experience in event planning or public speaking is a plus, but not required.
