Position Overview

As the Events Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in planning, managing, and evaluating a diverse range of in-person, online, and hybrid events. Reporting to the Executive Manager, this hands-on position requires a dynamic individual with energy, attention to detail, and a commitment to advancing the goals of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning & Administration: Prepare professional learning programs aligned with organisation’s objectives.
  • Event Management & Logistics: Coordinate speakers, presenters, venues, sponsors, and other key aspects of events.
  • Financial Management: Develop and monitor budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Marketing & Communications: Drive the marketing and communication plan for events through various channels.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Foster positive relationships with members, sponsors, committees, and other stakeholders.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Events Management or relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in event management, database systems, and social media platforms.
  • Proven track record in managing diverse events and stakeholder relationships.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
