Role Summary
The role of Executive Assistant will act as a key business partner, providing outstanding administrative and operational support for the Executive Director (ED), Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Global Leadership Team (GLT) and International Board of Trustees in a dynamic and changing organisation.
What you will be doing day to day
• As a natural problem solver with strong organizational skills, you will be responsible for managing important administrative deliverables to support the ED.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing calendars, making travel arrangements and preparing expense reports. To be successful in this role you will be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance.
• You will work closely with the ED and the International Board Chair to efficiently manage communications and planning for ARTICLE 19’s international experts who make up our International Board and General Assembly.
• Ultimately, you will contribute to the effectiveness of ARTICLE 19 by providing personalized and timely support to executive members.
What you will bring to the role
• We require experience as an Executive/Personal Assistant or similar role with excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• The Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and calmly to manage several competing priorities with good computer literacy and outstanding proven organisational and time management skills would be invaluable.
• You will have an affinity for the human rights sector and the desire to work in a complex, multi-cultural environment.
