Cancer Trials Australia (CTA) is a not-for- profit member-based organisation consisting of 34 clinical sites and 3 medical research institutes across Australia and New Zealand. We support the administration and management of clinical trials across both metropolitan and regional hospitals. We work in close partnership with clinical research sites, sponsors and CRO’s to ensure patients can gain access to appropriate clinical trials as quickly as possible. About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to partner and provide high level support to the CEO and management team. This role requires an individual who can work with a competing set of tasks, independently plan and prioritise workload to meet task requirements and deadlines.

In this role you will:

  • Demonstrate your organisation and time management skills by prioritising tasks and balance competing deadlines.
  • Provide CEO direct support by scheduling meetings, room bookings and coordinating internal and external meetings, events and business travel.
  • Support the Company Secretary by coordinating all aspects of CTA’s Annual General Meeting.
  • Partner with the management team to lead the coordination of internal projects and processes as required to support the seamless flow of operational and wider staff activities. This will include working closely with People and Culture’s recruitment and onboarding tasks.
  • Lead the management and coordination of office supplies and ensuring timely inventory replenishment.
  • Proofread, edit and format internal and external facing documents and presentations.
  • Meeting agendas and minutes.

About You

You will demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to nurture positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, whilst maintaining a team focused, professional and proactive approach in all activities.

Minimum requirements include:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Competent computer literacy skills, including the proficient use of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Previous experience with MailChimp, Eventbrite or Survey Monkey would be highly regarded.
  • High level of attention to detail, organisation and time management.
  • Ability to work independently, display initiative and exercise appropriate judgment.
