The Role

  • Continuing Full time
  • Level 5 – $77,142 – $84,218 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Orange, Port Macquarie or Wagga Wagga

As an Executive Assistant you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the University Secretary and the Office of Governance and Corporate Administration and Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the Executive Officer, you will organise diary management, scheduling meetings and travel arrangements as well as managing and coordinating requests for information, advice and assistance from internal and external stakeholders. 

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrated executive support experience and capabilities including the ability to negotiate and communicate with influence.
  • Highly organised, with proven ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks with attention to detail whilst working in a high volume work environment.
  • Demonstrated capability to utilise various online tools, portals and systems.
  • Excellence in communication with a strong customer service focus.

The Office of Governance and Corporate Administration is responsible for coordinating the governance of the University and is required to provide executive support to senior committees of the University. The Office of Governance and Corporate Administration is also responsible for providing advice to the Vice-Chancellor, senior executives and staff of the University in relation to University governance, audit and risk management, investigations/appeals and complaints, legislative compliance, legal requirements, policy management and records management. The Office of Governance and Corporate Administration also assists with other administrative, governance and advisory services relating to the corporate organisation of the University, such as graduations, elections, University rules and delegations.
