Ramahyuck District Aboriginal Corporation (RDAC) was established as an Aboriginal Community Controlled organisation in 1992 to improve the social, health and economic outcomes for Aboriginal people.

The Corporation is a leading provider of culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care and related social and family support services to Aboriginal people and communities across Gippsland. The Corporation’s services are provided throughout the Wellington and Latrobe Shires.

About the role

The Executive Assistant (EA) is responsible for providing seamless, executive-level support to the CEO and Executive team including:

  • Ensure the effective functioning of the CEO office by providing high-level administration support including diary management and timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain statutory registers for: Resolutions; Current and Former Membership; Minutes; Conflict of Interest; Aboriginality; Common Seal; and any other registers that may be required.
  • Maintain in a confidential and secure manner records of all meeting material, minutes, legal documents, communiques, MOUs, notices and registrations and any other official records. Ensure all records are kept in accordance with required standards and legislation.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for the CEO and ensure accuracy, clarity and timeliness of the documents, including the Annual Report.
  • Organise and coordinate events as required. Organise travel and accommodation requirements of CEO, Executive and Board Members on official duty.

Requirements for the role

  • Qualification in Business or Administration and/or significant experience in a similar role ideally within the community services, health or not-for-profit sector
  • Current Working with Children’s Check
  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check
  • Satisfactory pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License
  • Proof of receiving a minimum of three COVID19 vaccinations
