About IOGP Europe
We are the European voice of the oil & gas industry, an enabling partner for a low carbon future. We pioneer excellence in safe, efficient, and sustainable energy supply, and work with policymakers to deliver a policy framework enabling our Members to scale up investments in the EU’s transition towards climate neutrality by 2050. Our members account for 90% of Europe’s oil & gas production, while investing and developing low-carbon solutions (CCS, blue hydrogen, etc) and renewables.
IOGP Europe is the Brussels-based advocacy and policy arm of IOGP.
Your key responsibilities will be to assist our Managing Director by doing the following:
- Providing administrative support to the Managing Director and other senior executives when needed.
- Managing and organizing complex calendars and schedules
- Co-ordinating local and international travel arrangements and itineraries including processing travel
- expenses.
- Acting as the point of contact for European Board members (C-level executives), European Committee members; EU and government officials, and other key stakeholders.
- Supporting the preparation, execution and the drafting of minutes/action points’ follow up of European Board and European Committee meetings.
- Preparing and editing correspondence, communications, agendas, presentations and reports.
- Researching, analyzing and presenting data to support decision making.
- Reviewing and prioritizing internal and external requests by collaborating with internal functions and IOGP Headquarters (London).
- Maintaining a company VIP contact database.
- Supporting the organization in onsite or offsite meetings, including staff retreats.
To qualify for this role, you must have:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar field.
- At least 8 years of related professional experience in supporting leadership roles.
- Full command of French (C2/native), and a good command of English (C1/C2 levels)
KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
- A high level of discretion and understanding of how to handle sensitive information.
- Being reliable, organized and autonomous, with a strong ability to handle stressful situations, reprioritize tasks when need be.
- A strong ability to develop constructive and trust-based relationships.
- A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to understand and anticipate tasks given by the Managing Director.
- An expert in Microsoft Suite, with a good experience of using CRM tools.
