  • Organising a regular cadence of leadership team meetings, including preparing agendas, writing issue papers, taking minutes and following up on action items
  • Reviewing incoming documentation and preparing high quality and timely responses to enquiries and correspondence, including preparing responses for the CEO and Executive Client Service Manager
  • Preparing, contributing to and quality assuring a range of written material, including briefs, agenda papers, policy documentation, presentations and correspondence
  • Facilitating the delivery of accurate and timely board and board committee papers, including the coordination and management of action items that arise
  • Adapting the scope and purpose of recurring regular leadership team meetings to ensure they remain fit for purpose as the organisation continues to grow
  • Providing executive and administrative assistance to the CEO and Executive Client Service Manager, including managing diaries, travel, organising conferences and meetings, and collating required documentation

To be successful you’ll have

  • Enthusiasm and passion for social service delivery reform

  • A tertiary degree – in political science or arts
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills at an executive level
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to manage time, work output and priorities and handle a range of tasks with competing priorities within tight timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and to build strong, positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with sensitive and confidential issues
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively research and analyse information and write reports for an executive audience
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to quickly familiarise, embrace and champion use of multiple in-house tools and systems

A note about inclusion…

At InLife, diversity and inclusion is part of our DNA. We celebrate the amazing differences we all bring to our work and we actively ensure that everyone feels safe and supported in our workplaces.

We welcome and encourage applications from everyone and our hiring decisions will never be based on things such as your gender identity, disability, age, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or cultural background – because they simply aren’t relevant to doing an awesome job (and you are protected from this kind of discrimination under Australian law).

We also know that we continue to learn more about inclusion every day, so if there is something you think we could do differently to make InLife a place you could picture yourself working, we’re all ears.
