Executive Director

The Darien Land Trust is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Executive Director to manage a nonprofit organization that has preserved land in Darien for more than 65 years. The DLT is committed to serving the community through the active stewardship of 225 acres that include meadowlands, woodlands, marshlands and coastal areas. The land trust is supported by a membership of nearly 500 residents in Darien, Connecticut. 

Our Executive Director will work in partnership with the Board of Trustees to provide leadership and direction in maintaining best practices in our governance, stewardship, land review and financial management. Our Executive Director will engage with the community at outreach events to present the DLT as a leader in conservation and will maintain strong relationships with our partner organizations.
