Missoula’s mountain biking community is growing fast and the Missoula Mountain Bike Coalition (MMBC) is looking for a leader ready to write the next chapter. As Executive Director, you’ll guide a passionate nonprofit at the center of trail building, stewardship, and advocacy in one of the nation’s most vibrant outdoor communities. About Missoula Mountain Bike Coalition
Missoula Mountain Bike Coalition (MMBC) is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting and expanding mountain biking opportunities in Missoula and the surrounding region through trail building, stewardship, advocacy, and community outreach. We seek an Executive Director (“ED”) with a passion for trails, cycling, and community service to lead the organization forward. MMBC’s personnel includes two full-time and one season staff, a committed Board of Directors, and many active volunteers.
Position Summary
The ED is the organization’s chief staff leader and primary public representative. This role oversees day‑to‑day operations, staff supervision, financial stewardship, fundraising, partnership development, advocacy and policy review, and public relations. The ED will work closely with an engaged Board of Directors to maintain organizational sustainability and to expand MMBC’s impact on trail design, construction, stewardship, and community relations.

Physical demands
Capacity to lead mountain biking outings, including in high‑alpine terrain, and hike on steep slopes
