partnered with UTA to seek an exceptional candidate for the role of
Executive Director of Industry Relations who will ignite and
navigate strategic partnerships with top-level entities. As
the driving force behind UTA’s campuswide engagement efforts, the
executive director will spearhead initiatives that amplify
fundraising, fosters impact research collaborations, empowers
workforce development and secures institutional sponsorships.
Collaborating closely with esteemed university leaders, the
executive director will coordinate multi-level strategies and
cultivate relationships that will propel the institution to new

Essential Job Functions
- Build, manage and oversee a comprehensive, metrics-based
industry relations program across the university to enhance
philanthropy, internships, sponsored research support, partnerships
and university-wide sponsorships. - Establish and nurture institutional relationships with
top-level current and prospective industry partners to align with
university priorities and advance strategic goals. - Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the
President, Provost, various vice presidents, Athletics Director,
Deans and other leadership to develop campuswide multilevel
strategies for top institutional industry partners. - Provide exemplary leadership to the Industry/Corporate
Relations team, ensuring coordination and alignment across the
portfolio of industry partnerships. - Act as the primary relationship coordinator for high-level
university and industry partnerships, including prospecting and
cultivating new relationships, scheduling meetings with corporate
contacts and hosting cultivation and stewardship events. - Develop a deep understanding of university research and
academic goals to create partnership agendas and proposals for
companies and industries.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or
university. - Eight to thirteen years of progressively responsible corporate
engagement experience preferably in a higher education
setting. - Experience planning and executing metrics-based engagement
programs and managing teams and staff to successful goal
attainment. - Personal success in identifying, cultivating, soliciting and
stewarding corporate contacts at high-level complex industry
partners. - Corporate engagement management/supervisory experience.

of Dallas and 12 miles east of downtown Fort Worth. The
city’s central location within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex

institutions and attractions. It houses AT&T Stadium, which
serves as the iconic home stadium for the Dallas Cowboys football
