About the opportunity
The Student Services and Operations division is looking for two new team members (one ongoing full time and one fixed term (1 year) position. To be successful in this position you will need to be a flexible, self-motivated, team player to join their team as an Executive Officer reporting to the Divisional Manager.
The Student Services and Operations team handles the early phases of the student journey and oversees areas such as marketing, engagement, applications, recruitment, partnerships and enrolment.
As our successful candidate, your will assist the Division with its daily operations and administration. You will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to the Student Services and Operations Leadership Team, handling various issues, activities, events, and projects.
Your role as the Executive Officer is to work with the rest of the Student Services and Operations Administration Support Team to provide high-quality administrative support. You will cooperate with the team to ensure that the support is efficient and professional.
What you’ll do:
- Provide support to the Student Services and Operations Leadership Team across the full suite of administrative needs including schedule coordination, logistics and resource arrangements, correspondence preparation and management, meeting and enquiry triaging, stakeholder support.
- Ensure high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders engaging with the Division and Leadership team.
- Monitoring of team service delivery and engaging with senior members of the Administration Support Team to support continuous improvement.
- Assist the Divisional Manager with key projects, reporting and administration for the executive and division.
- Support Student Services and Operations Leadership Team with events, team activities and at section team meetings.
What we’re looking for:
- Completion of a degree level qualification or an equivalent combination of skills, training and experience in executive support in a large complex organisation preferably in higher education.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in a fast-paced office, working in a team environment supporting administrative staff and creating a positive and productive working environment.
- Highly developed level of oral and written communication skills.
- Capacity to display initiative, solve problems and meet deadlines in a demanding and dynamic work environment.
- Manage complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously, mixing long term projects with the urgency of day-to-day demands.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $110,273 comprising base salary within the range of $86,918 to $94,250 plus 17% superannuation.
