Our CPA Allambie Heights site are looking to grow the team – could you be our next Exercise Physiologist?
Responsibilities:
- Function as the Saturday Site Coordinator for CPA’s Saturday Services including responsibilities as a first responder to day to day matters such as incidents, complaints, hazards and staff unplanned absence in line with the organisation’s policy and procedures
- Prepare and deliver individual and group intervention sessions as a clinical lead including group vacancy management
- Responsible for the practice support and mentoring to staff on Saturdays
- Provide regular feedback to therapy management and casual rostering support as required to meet Saturday staffing and workforce needs
- Provide support in collaboration with Clinical Educators, Therapy Management and key stakeholders to ensure the team attains required level of skill, clinical competence and performance targets to deliver quality, best practice services for clients
This role is located at our Allambie Heights site and is a casual position, working a half day on Saturday. You will be joining a multidisciplinary team of 25 physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, behavior support practitioners and exercise physiologists.
Working with a highly innovative and supportive team. The Allambie Heights site is an exciting workplace with the state of the art facilities including a gym, hydro-pool and extensive equipment.
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology
- Allied Health Levels 8-10.2
- Has satisfactorily completed the six-month probationary period
- Not working in a split role or involved in any other program or research initiative requiring allocated time e.g., Research Participation Model, Research projects, Early Diagnosis Clinic, Governance Projects
- Specific interest/learning and career goals in management or clinical education
- Understanding of the broader disability and NDIS sector in Australia
