Job description
The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for the design, delivery, evaluation and adaptation of a safe and effective exercise interventions, that can improve the clients physical and emotional wellbeing. Location – Taree
The Exercise Physiologist will be working with the Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI) of Uniting, Recovery division, is a community outreach service assisting adults with mental health issues to maintain successful accommodation, as well as assisting them to participate in their communities.
- Part time 1 day a week in – Taree

- $36 – $39 + Super per hour plus Generous Salary packaging benefits
Role Overview:
Some of the duties of the Exercise Physiologist are:
- Develop, organise, and supervise individual and /or group exercise programs
- Facilitate exercise programs to enhance wellbeing and aid in the reduction of mental health concerns in consumers using evidence based exercise and lifestyle interventions
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor level qualification in Human Movement, Exercise Science, or equivalent
- Accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
- Current Australian Drivers License
- At least 2 years experience including working with clients with a severe and persistent mental illness
