We are seeking a developer to deliver end-to-end technology capabilities for Teamson’s Telford, UK office. You will contribute to the company’s revenue by developing and supporting new integrations with online retailers. You will be pivotal in supporting the technology that enable our business to function and succeed throughout Europe and around the globe. As part of a global team you will collaborate with individuals passionate about technology. You will have the opportunity to explore technology across multiple disciplines while helping to shape technology innovation at Teamson.

Location: On-Site in Telford
Salary: 30,000 – 50,000 GBP (depending on skill and experience)
Reporting to this position: Director, Global Business & Technology Solutions

Essential Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Associate or above degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
  • At least 2 year’s experience as a developer
  • Extensive knowledge of Java, Python, web (HTML, Javascript, etc.) programming
  • Expertise with writing efficient SQL queries
  • Experience with Windows and Linux based environments
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business and technology stakeholders
  • Adapt at problem solving and analysis
  • Effective working on multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously
  • Willingness to adapt to change and learn new technologies

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with dbt, Stitch Data, or Postgres preferred
  • Experience with Tableau, Domo, or Microsoft PowerBI
  • Experience with API development
  • Experience with Scrum or agile processes
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database ad

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support integrations with online retailers
  • Support the Operations team to ensure timely delivery of Teamson orders to customers
  • Ensure robustness and reliability of Teamson systems
  • Setup and support Teamson IT infrastructure
  • Provide technology support for the Teamson UK office in Telford
  • Deliver priorities of Teamson
  • Work with the Director, Business & Technology Solutions on the IT roadmap for Teamson
  • Look for improvement opportunities using technology
  • Meet industry, company, and IT standards while delivering technology solutions
  • Coordinate with key business stakeholders to deliver on projects
  • Foster a positive, professional environment that encourages team collaboration
  • Learning new technologies as needed to meet business needs
  • Other duties as assigned.
