Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a high performing and Experienced Product Specialist for BCA Business Success, Manufacturing & Quality product division to join the team for working on future production systems for Sheffield site.

The team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include using modern tools and technology along with SAFe methodology to develop products. Drive strategic direction, provides solutions and drives business value to keep Boeing and its partners connected in the most innovative, efficient and effective way. We are looking for passionate individual to create, own, and continuously improve strategic and tactical direction for the Software Development and engage in product development and help to define best practices, improved processes, develop reusable libraries, SDKs and common services that will be used across the enterprise.

Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. Position Responsibilities:

Work very closely with business stakeholders, UX designer and architects to define product requirements and collaborate within agile teams to drive product management activities

Conduct use-case studies, consistently assess and analyze the impact of existing and new features

Propose improvements to existing features, communicate and priorities these changes along with other development priorities and projects.

Performs activities to support opportunities for existing products & gathers data on customer needs to identify product opportunities

Break down Business and Tech EPICs into user stories and refines them to meets Definition of Ready (DoR).

Maintains DoR and ensure user stories meet DoR prior to PI planning for must have scope.

Prioritize User Stories and conduct story point estimation exercise

Manage timelines and follow multiple product roadmaps to organize timely feature releases and minimize release delays.

Analyze information from the User Operations team, user surveys and usability testing to identify actionable feedback.

Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple departments.

Provides periodic updates to Boeing management in the form of progress reports, project summaries, and other related documents.

PI Planning:

Participate in PI planning and help/work with teams in establishing PI commitments.

Provide the priority for the user stories for the PI planning.

Works with the team to answer questions and clarify requirements.

Support team on any impediments related to requirements and scope.

PI Execution:

Drive Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospectives, End of Sprint Demos, Daily Stand Ups, System demos, Story acceptance

Provide the priority for the user stories in the sprint planning.

Support team on any impediments related to requirements and scope.

Work with the Product Manager for UAT schedule planning.

Drive UAT and co-ordinate with Business team.

Perform sanity test in the UAT environment.

Validate the bug fixes in UAT before giving to Business team.

Prioritize and classify the UAT bugs along with the business team.

Share UAT progress status to the stakeholders.

Get the UAT approval from the Business team for the release.

Participates in the review of the User Guide as an Approver.

Participate in Production deployment window.

Participate in Scrum of Scrum meetings on need basis.

Regular testing / participate in internal demo of user stores in the development phase and approve for UAT.

Participate in all Scrum / SAFe events.

Participate in Business Team Scrum meeting to provide daily updates.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Domain knowledge in Manufacturing and different Quality processes

Self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, strong analytical and creative problem solving skills and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.

Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.

Understands the definition of requirements for improving processes and systems, reducing their costs, enhancing their sustainability, and the quantification of potential business benefits.​

Experience and knowledge of the Agile framework and well versed with SAFe framework

Aware of Product KPIs and industry insights

Excellent interpersonal communication & analytical skills

Aware of ADO, JIRA

Understanding of product development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Basic UX design experience

Good to have knowledge in cloud, microservices

Knowledge about different estimation techniques

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or 3 year Diploma with typically 8 to 12 Years related work experience and/or a Master’s degree or 3 year Diploma with typically 7 to 11 Year’s related work experience or relevant military experience
