Description of the Assignment:  Recruitment of three (3) Specialists to support with ecosystem building under the timbuktoo initiative , following its launch at the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2024. The Consultant will provide overall leadership and oversight to ensure the successful establishment of the Foundation, with responsibilities spanning strategic vision execution, investment strategy formulation, stakeholder engagement, research, legal compliance, operational efficiency, sustainability, communication, and capacity building. The Consultant will work closely with diverse stakeholders, including government partners, investors, corporates, and ecosystem stakeholders, to drive the Foundation’s mission of fostering a vibrant startup ecosystem in Africa. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to Africa’s sustainable development and economic growth by leveraging innovation and talent across the continent.

 

Expected Period of assignment/services: 72 days within 6 months period ( July 2024 _ Jan 2025)
