Position Summary The Extension Educational Program Facilitator will teach and facilitate Extension and 4-H programs such as day camps, Health Rocks! Curriculum, and other 4-H curriculum with youth ages 5 – 18. Facilitator will review curriculum, organize lesson plans, implement lessons with partner organizations, communicate with partner organizations, and manage program reporting.
Position Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Experience working with youth.
  • Ability to respond to the needs of diverse audiences through adaptable written and verbal communication methods.
  • Ability to communicate through teaching, public speaking/presentation and writing as demonstrated through application materials and experience.
  • Exhibits organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to use inductive reasoning and resources provided to solve problems.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 21 years old or older.
  • Completed associate OR bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience working with 4-H.
  • Previous experience facilitating and teaching lessons and using curriculum.
