Job Summary

RTI is seeking an experienced individual as a consultant to support research and analysis for various activities and deliverables.

Responsibilities

Scope: Activities required to be undertaken are detailed below:

 

1. Map the existing state of play related to EV manufacturing eco system including policies, players, imports, human resources and related aspects.
2. Conduct stakeholder meetings to understand barriers, challenges, and opportunities in EV manufacturing value chain.
3. Develop hypothesis related to changes in the enabling environment such as policy reform, fiscal incentives etc. required to enable expansion of EV manufacturing.
4. Support development of future forecast on growth and development of EV industry in India.
5. Support conduct of workshops in Delhi and other locations.
6. Develop various section of the final report including roadmap.
7. Any other task that may be assigned.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications: At-least a bachelor’s degree in mechanical/automobile/production/industrial/electrical/instrumentation/electronics/physics or closely related fields is required. Master’s degree is preferred.

 

Experience: Experience working in automobile sector with understanding of electric vehicle supply chain or consulting related to automobile industry is required. Professionals retired from automobile sector are preferred.

 

Skills and Aptitude: Self-starter, ability to work independently, collaborative style and knowledge of MS office.

 

Language: Ability to communicate in English and Hindi is required.

 

Location: N. Delhi

 

Duration: July 1, 2023 onwards for a period of 6-9 months.

 

Level of Effort: Part time

 

Travel: To automobile hubs in India such as Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra will be required for short duration.
