External Relations and Access Expert*

in Duhok

 

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration until 31.12.2025  Employment location will be Duhok,in KRI.The position is paid according to SG7 ( 3,575,000IQD) as Gross Salary .

Support in obtaining all necessary permissions for transfer, transport, selling, of WHH assets

 

 

Your responsibilities

 

Part time position, 75% with at least 1 week per month in Erbil office and frequent travel to other field offices

Support in obtaining all necessary permissions for transfer, transport, selling, of WHH assets

Support in obtaining the necessary permissions for office closure/opening across the Country

Keep smooth relations with administrative bodies;

• Monitor changes in administrative procedures and requirements;
• Liaise with the other ministries concerned by WHH projects upon request by the Head of Projects / CD;
• Liaise with local authorities (governorate and municipality levels) for any other related topic (e.g. vocational license, visa, tax exemption) Management of the Support Office Team
• Submit, follow and obtain administrative legal documents: visas, work permits, travel authorizations; with support of Security&Liaison support in Baghdad
• Put together expatriate files: contracts, photographs, photocopies of passports, driving licenses, visas, etc;
• Provide the CD with all the necessary information to maintain a spread sheet detailing document expiry dates (visa / plane ticket…);
• Obtaining of access letter according with the operational requirements in coordinationw with CD and Fleet manager
• Prepare the submission of the annual request for the renewal of the registration certificate of the organization;
• Collect and circulate relevant information about any change/ evolution/ modification of the local legal regulations, including immigration law, labor law and tax law.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders through regular communication, meetings, and events.
• Address concerns and queries raised by stakeholders to foster transparency and trust.
• Collaborate with program managers, communications teams, and other internal departments to ensure a cohesive and coordinated external representation strategy
• Supervise the due respect of the procedures, principles and values of WHH of all the staff members while being at the office (including in terms of behavior and personal interaction): report any issue to the Management
• Support in conflict resolution with suppliers, landlords , stakeholders in general when potential conflict arises
• Support to national partner organizations in finding solutions to access or obtaining permissions from program implementation
• Support national partner organizations in drafting and developing access plan/approval letters

Professional/ formal qualification

• University degree
• 5 to 7 years’ professional experience working in similar position with relevant tasks and responsibilities

Foreign language skills

• Fluency in English ,Kurdish and Arabic (written and spoken),
