Department: Finance & Accounting / Business OperationsWe are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting (F&A) Subject Matter Expert
(SME) to support outsourced client operations across all levels, agnostic to a specific
domain. The ideal candidate will provide expertise across multiple BPO financial
processes, enhance operational efficiency and drive strategic decision-making. They
will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices, compliance and
process improvements in finance and accounting functions.Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an SME for finance and accounting processes across different business
functions and domains.
- Support and advise clients, finance teams and operational units on F&A best
practices, process efficiencies, and compliance requirements.
- Provide expertise in enterprise resource planning, financial close and
reconciliation, FP&A, Procurement and Vendor Management, Data & Analytics.
- Partner with technology teams to enhance ERP systems, reporting tools and
automation in F&A functions.
- Act as a liaison between finance and non-finance stakeholders, ensuring
financial data integrity and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead or support finance transformation initiatives, process reengineering and
continuous improvement projects.
- Provide training and mentorship to finance and business teams on best
practices and emerging trends in F&A.Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in finance transformation, process improvement and solutioning.
- Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) are preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in finance & accounting, with expertise across multiple
domains.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) and financial
automation tools.
- Ability to analyse complex financial data and translate insights into strategic
actions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts
and technology solutions to non-finance stakeholders.
- Knowledge of global financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Technology skillset:
We would expect the successful individual to have good knowledge of some of
following solutions:
- SAP, Workday, Dynamics (Microsoft), Oracle – Leading ERP and financial
management systems for Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and
Order-to-Cash (O2C).
- SAP S/4HANA Finance – General ledger, compliance, and reporting
- Oracle Cloud ERP – End-to-end finance, risk, and procurement
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance – AI-driven financial management
- Workday Financial Management – Cloud-based accounting & analytics
- ARCS – Blackline – Account Reconciliation & Compliance Services (ARCS)
automates financial close processes and regulatory compliance for Record-to Report (R2R).
- Anaplan – Cloud-based financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting, often
integrated with ERP solutions for scenario modelling.
- SAP Ariba – Leading Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solution for contract and supplier
management.
- Alteryx, DataIQ – Used for data preparation, transformation, and advanced
analytics, often supporting predictive modelling, risk assessment, and
