Facilities ManagerVenn Group is working with a large Educational Trust to recruit a Facilities Manager.Hourly rate: £32.71 through an umbrella companyDuration: temporary to permanentHours: 36 per weekLocation: LondonThe successful candidate will:

• Be responsible, on an annual basis, for planning and managing a planned preventative maintenance schedule
• Ensure that documentation is always kept up to date, logging and reporting any defects
• Ensure compliance with all Fire Safety legislation and regulations and Fire Safety Policy, including a weekly fire alarm testing, recording of fire drills in the Fire Log Book
• Hold responsibility for opening and closing, unlocking and locking of school gates and buildings including the locking of all windows and doors
• Ensure maintenance, repairs and inspections of equipment are conducted in accordance with defined time frame checks within the PPM
• Plan, allocate, support and evaluate work undertaken by the facilities team, including domestic assistants, ensuring clear delegation of tasks
• Move furniture and equipment as necessary

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience within the education sector
• Enhanced DBS with Child and Adult Barring
• D1 licence is highly desirable

Expected salary

£32 per hour
