Position overview

The Division of Facilities and Services (F&S) is to ‘enable academic excellence at the ANU through integrated and innovative facilities and project delivery’. The three key portfolios within the Division are Infrastructure & Planning, Operations, and Corporate.

The Facilities Officer works within the Operations Portfolio and is responsible for supporting the Building Maintenance team to deliver facilities services and building maintenance across the ANU.  Working closely with the Building Maintenance Manager and Trade Supervisors, you will work to support and coordinate delivery of services, coordinate contractor services and oversee delivery of contractors to ensure deliverables and service objectives and goals are met.

To be successful in the position, the ideal candidate will be have strong customer service skills and have demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks, planning and prioritizing workflow and delivering against competing deadlines. Your ability to problem solve and to adapt to a wide range of queries will help support the day to day needs of the team and the clients. You will have experience analysing data and successfully delivering works programs. You will have excellent attention to detail and effective stakeholder engagement and communications skills.  You will be a great team player and be able to work both as part of a team and independently.
