Serves as Facilities Specialist for Health Sciences Library; inspects, assesses and coordinates day-to-day repair, maintenance, construction and renovation projects within the HSL spaces; works with building partners, FOD, building coordinator, project managers, customers and leadership to coordinate building maintenance, preventative care, building systems, equipment, security, building access, fire suppression system, custodial services, furniture orders/repairs, HVAC, water, heating and special projects; oversees building and cross-department communications and coordination of facilities activities and functions in Prior Hall, updating building occupants and customers; distributes, authorizes and maintains key requests and audit compliance;  authorizes building access requests for employees and student overnight access; authorizes swipe access and audit compliance for HSL space; serves as primary contact for HSL vendor access requests, renovation specifications and coordination of projects; coordinates interior building painting; coordinates office moves or furniture moves; coordinates all surplus, equipment and furniture pickups/disposals; coordinates new carpet, paint, electrical work and installation of equipment/furniture; assists front-line staff in Public Services area; creates and manages building operations budget; orders office supplies.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 0 years relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Excellent Written and Verbal skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of University and Libraries staff, outside vendors and contractors etc. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Desired Qualifications

Logistics and analytics experience preferred. Experience working with work-order reporting systems, emergency and security procedures. Furniture and inventory experience.
