The department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at St. Jude Children’s Hospital is seeking a faculty level (clinician scientist or clinical track) anatomic pathologist at the assistant, associate, or full member level. Applicants should have a strong interest in the diagnosis and biology of pediatric solid tumors. The faculty member will participate in the diagnostic service and clinical translational research in the Developmental Biology and Solid Tumor Program (DBSTP). 

 

The successful candidate should have an MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree, must be board certified in AP or AP/CP, and have a record of scholarly achievement. Relevant fellowship training in pediatric pathology or bone and soft tissue pathology is preferred. Candidates with an interest in clinical research or an active program in translational research are encouraged to apply. Specific areas of interest for an ideal candidate include molecular diagnostics or computational pathology.

 

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is one of the premier pediatric cancer hospitals in the United States with leaders in both clinical and basic science. Strong interdepartmental programs are present in pediatric solid tumors, hematological malignancies, neuro-oncology / development neurobiology, and molecular oncogenesis. Clinical and basic research activities are carried out in adjacent state-of-the-art buildings on the St. Jude campus, which provides an environment to foster close collaboration between clinical and basic science investigators.
