The YVSC internship is a 12-week, in-person, paid position requiring 10-15 hours per week based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Interns are paired with a staff mentor to work on a project that advances programming in one of our 5 priority areas: Energy, Transportation, Waste Diversion, Resilient Land & Water, and Community Engagement.
Projects may include but are not limited to: conservation projects, field work, event coordination, website design, outreach and communications, and data analysis. Interns are expected to attend weekly meetings and engage with YVSC events and programs during their term in addition to their independent work on their project.
The goal of the YVSC Internship Program is to connect motivated students and young professionals with training and experience that puts them on track to sustainability professions in the future.
