As a Medical Doctor with NTM PNG, you will serve the missionary team as a critical part of a comprehensive support network that sustains translation and church planting across PNG. Therefore, whether treating expats or citizens, every patient you treat enables you to impact not only the patient, their family and local community but to also reach beyond them to the entire church planting effort across PNG. By this means, with every patient you treat, the unreached become more reachable.

We are looking for a Medical Doctor who is…

• Looking for both direct patient care and teaching opportunities.
• Comfortable in a primary care setting with aspects of emergency care.
• Willing to work independently within a larger team context.

You will have the opportunity to…

• Provide routine well-child and prenatal care to families.
• Provide chronic health prevention and follow-up intermixed with urgent/emergent care needs such as viral illness, tropical infection, wound care, orthopedic injuries, cardiac events, and more.
• Advise patients both on-site and in remote locations.
•  Educate team members, patients, high school students, and others.
• Participate in team and field advisement and decisions.
