We are seeking a Family Partnerships Coordinator to join our organisation. Reporting to the Team Leader, Learning for Life and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will work with families receiving the Learning for Life scholarship to achieve stronger educational outcomes for children.
About our role
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the delivery of the Learning for Life program in the community, supporting families to achieve a high level of school attendance, effective school transitions, senior school engagement and post school planning which contribute to participation in post schoolwork or study in the long term.
- Developing and supporting relationships with referral partners (mainly schools).
- Recruiting potential Learning for Life scholarship participants to maintain program targets.
- Working with the wider team to refer Learning for Life students to in-school programs.
- Participating in relevant practice development and process improvement teams as required.
About you
As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining partnerships.
- Demonstrated experience in administration.
- Understanding of the education sector.
- Demonstrated experience in working with disadvantaged / marginalised groups and communities.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to respond to competing demands.
- Have or willing to obtain an employee Working With Children’s Check.
