We are seeking Graduates and Family Violence professionals to join us at GenWest! We are currently recruiting practitioners to provide crisis, brief intervention, and outreach support to victim/survivors. We have various vacancies from fixed term, ongoing, part-time, and full-time available, including several after-hours roles. Salaries for these roles will vary pro rata, ranging from SCHADS level 4.3 ($86,349.12) to level 5.3 ($98,111.52) + 11%superannuation + $15,990 salary packaging.
ABOUT GENWEST
GenWest (formerly Women’s Health West) is a family violence support service. We deliver programs that support communities to lead safe and healthy lives. We support people based in West Naarm (Melbourne’s West). Including the Western Metropolitan and Brimbank Melton areas.
Our family violence specialists work with victim survivors who are either experiencing an immediate family violence crisis, or whose safety is at risk as a result of family violence.
Within our Outreach team, practitioners undertake comprehensive risk assessments to identify the level of risk and work with victim survivors to develop case plans and safety strategies. In addition, they coordinate access to brokerage, advocacy, housing, legal, health, counselling and other assistance, to support immediate and longer-term safety.
Our Crisis Response and Brief Intervention program provides family violence crisis support and an immediate response to clients who self-refer to GenWest. The Crisis Response service is accessible 7 days per week 24-hour offering emergency accommodation to clients at serious risk.
We are currently hiring Family Violence Practitioners across all these functions.
