Job description
As a Family Violence Support Worker at Emerge’s family violence refuge, you will be an integral part of our dedicated team. Your primary responsibilities and duties will involve providing essential support to clients, documentation, administrative tasks, coordinating volunteer efforts, and engaging with the community.
By collaborating with the Refuge Team Leader and your colleagues, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking refuge from family violence.
WHO WE ARE
Emerge Women and Children’s Support Network (Emerge) is a specialist family violence service located in the City of Kingston. We run a 24/7 secure refuge, provide crisis accommodation, temporary housing and outreach services to women who remain in their homes. We also offer a variety of programs for women and therapeutic services to our clients, their children and the wider community.
