About the Role
Beaumont People are proud to be partnering with a reputable not for profit organisation in seeking a dedicated and passionate Family and Youth Program Manager to lead efforts in providing support and resources to vulnerable families and youth.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services that address the unique needs and challenges faced by our target population. As a compassionate and driven leader, you will work collaboratively with a diverse team to ensure the delivery of high-quality and impactful interventions.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify the specific needs of vulnerable families and youth.
- Oversee the smooth implementation of programs ensuring they meet the desired outcomes.
- Manage a small team of dedicated professionals providing frontline support to our community members and conduct regular team meetings to promote collaboration and learning.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of client cases and facilitate case conferences and team discussions to develop comprehensive support plans for families and youth.
- Cultivate and maintain partnerships with local agencies, schools, government entities, and community organisations to strengthen the network of support available to families and youth.
- Assist in the development of grant proposals to secure funding for family and youth programs.
- Oversee grant compliance and reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports to funders.
- Implement a robust evaluation framework to assess program effectiveness and impact.
- Utilise data-driven insights to make informed decisions and continuously improve program outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Undergraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology or other related discipline.
- Strong leadership & management experience within youth & families or community welfare.
- Knowledge of trauma informed practices and strong rapport building skills.
- Strong knowledge of case management skills and effective use of interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with a proven ability to engage in building relationships with staff, volunteers, external stakeholders, and beneficiaries.
- Proven ability to negotiate and resolve conflict with solution focused strategies.
- Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- High Level experience with MS Office and CRM systems, as well as experience working with confidential records and information.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative, as well as collaborate effectively with team members and key stakeholders.
- Experience working with volunteers and members-based organisations is highly regarded.
