Farm Educator

Red Gate Farm is seeking hard-working, kind, and enthusiastic individuals to help lead overnight school programs, summer programs and assist in running the farm. Farm Educators build meaningful relationships with youth, learn to take care of a variety of farm animals and vegetable gardens, and gain valuable leadership skills in the process. Red Gate Farm’s school and summer programs are purposefully small, with typically a 1:6 educator to student ratio. Educators help students build a strong connections and respect for the land, including our 70 acre forest. The Farm Educator helps to develop programs, and assists with farm maintenance and operation as needed. This position is designed with many opportunities to learn and grow as an educator in a unique outdoor setting. 

Housing is provided, along with a generous food stipend, optional health insurance, and access to farm products (meat, honey, maple syrup, seasonal fruit and vegetables).
