The Soil Association
tendersglobal.net
About our Organisation
Soil Association Exchange is a new service and web-based platform for all UK farmers to help
them farm in a way that improves the climate, protects nature and enhances their profitability.
Exchange works with farmers to measure the environmental impact and then delivers bespoke
advice on how those scores can be improved. Crucially, it then helps farmers understand and
take advantage of the links between farming more sustainably and farming profitably. Exchange
is a fast-paced, commercial startup that spun out of the Soil Association charity in 2022.
Exchange sells its services to a variety of customers including retailers (M&S, Sainsburys)
processors (e.g. Riverford and Arla) and financial institutions (e.g. Lloyds Banking
Group). Through these companies we are set to work with over 600 farms in 2024.
