The Cloudburst Group seeks a full-time Federal Contracts Analyst to support a growing portfolio of global development contracts and subcontracts for Federal Clients. This position would assist the Sr. Contracts Manager in new contract start-up, developing and managing new subcontracts and consulting agreements, and contract closeout.
Expected Compensation Range: $50,000 to $75,000 yearly
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under the direction of the Sr. Contracts Manager, develop various nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontracts, task orders, and consulting agreements.
- Review prime contracts for contract requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions for subcontractor flow-downs.
- Negotiate and verify consultant rates and subcontract budgets, analyzing costs to ensure reasonableness and allowability following federal regulations.
- Assist in managing the subcontractor data call process for new business opportunities.
- Interact with company project, finance, and accounting staff to ensure timely and consistent reporting and resolve identified challenges and/or discrepancies.
- Assist with ensuring and documenting compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and U.S. Agency for International Development-specific laws, regulations (AIDAR), and department guidance (ADS).
- Develop, maintain, and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports, as needed.
- Perform with a high level of integrity and commitment to company values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or Pre-Law).
- Must have three to five years’ experience in Federal contracts or subcontracts management. Certifications in federal contracting are a plus.
- Candidate must be an advanced level user of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, and Excel (including database functions of Excel), and in conversion between applications.
- Candidate must be a strategic thinker who can quickly understand complex processes and problem-solve.
- Candidate must possess a strong and intuitive ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities as well as strong follow-through skills.
- Candidate must have the ability to complete tasks timely and accurately.
- Candidate must be detail-oriented with strong organization and analytical skills.
- Candidate must have the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Candidate must have the ability to work independently and with initiative.
