Background:

Sahara Economic Development Organization (SEDO) is an Iraqi National NGO, it was established in November 2007 as an independent NGO with its main office in Tikrit city. It focuses on developing the economic sector by providing business management training courses and counseling services to entrepreneurs and potential investors to enable them to contribute to the local economy efficiently. SEDO is considered among the most effective and qualified organizations in Iraq. It has conducted economic studies on the business environment in Iraq, identifying business opportunities and market niches for potential investors in Iraq. SEDO started humanitarian intervention in Iraq to respond to the urgent need for our beneficiaries. Its work is in the WASH, livelihood, protection, food security, and education sectors.

Job Summary:

•  Prepare a site report daily and send it to the project officer.

• Assist the CM in establishing and maintaining regular contacts with beneficiaries.

•  Perform all distributions carried out by SEDO to the IDPs. Assign roles and duties of the acting field officer when he is on leave.

• Accept new responsibilities when assigned by the project officer.

• Produce schedules and monitor work.

• Allocate general and daily responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans

•  Resolve problems as they arise

•  Report progress to the project officer.
