Main Job Purpose

The Field Assistants will oversee and coordinate project activities at their respective locations, ensuring successful implementation and outcomes. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Field Assistants will be responsible for conducting daily field visits, monitoring progress, and facilitating communication between project stakeholders, This role requires a proactive and organized individual dedicated to achieving project goals. this position will be subject to donor funding

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meeting with all project stakeholders including the Beneficiaries for program activities.
  • Revitalization/ or Formation of committees with inclusion of youth volunteers, and orientation of members on project modality and roles & responsibilities for each.
  • Collect beneficiary data for each project location and enrolled in Data management system; compile them by each region and submit the same to the Project Manager for review and further submission to the donor Focal points for final beneficiaries list Approval.
  • Arrangement of Training site, and delivery of training to selected beneficiaries in coordination with local committee members, stockholders and the UNDP field facilitators.
  • Provide the Project Manager with necessary information in order to prepare monthly/quarterly narrative reports for donors as well as for the HA country office.
  • Ensure the effective monitoring, evaluation and documentation of the submitted project plan by entrepreneurs.
  • Submit the delivery plan for project activities (VT and OJT) in organized and timely manner in coordination with the project manager and specialist.
  • Coordination with local authorities, limited to activity locations.
  • Ensure compliance in the processes, from planning, implementation, reporting and monitoring.
  • Assist and direct work on Data Entry by filling necessary documents for the project activities.
  • Coordinate the preparation and monitor the implementation of the project work-plan, and financial reporting and forecast in consultation with the Project Manager.
  • Facilitating and supporting beneficiaries in the process of distributing cash for vocational and on-the-job training wages, and ensuring smooth receipt of cash by all beneficiaries.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Education: Bachelor’s or diploma degree in any area of knowledge, preferably in development studies, business administration, economics, social sciences

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in livelihoods’ project coordination, conducting outreach and proof of building successful relations with public and private sector in the target location.
  • Able to maintain highest level of confidentiality regarding work-related information and data.
  • Relationship building: strong ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, multi-task and time management skills
  • Proven ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple tasks at the same time
  • Ability to manage high/low workload depending on emergencies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with limited supervision in a challenging environment.
  • Knowledge of the local context and procedures.

Computer Skills:

Very good computer skills in Microsoft Office and any other system will be a plus

Languages:

Writing and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English and knowledge of local languages ​​will be a plus.
