Field Coordinator

Aim of the position:  The main objective of the Field Coordinator is to oversee the day-to-day implementation of the project at the field level, ensuring timely delivery of activities, coordination with stakeholders, and effective reporting.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Follow up the coordination of components and activities on the field – Support the technical staff (agriculture engineer, life skills officers and external trainers) in all aspects related to the implementation of their activities
  • Daily follow up of the different activities within the scope of the project including but not exclusively; communication with beneficiaries, data collection and data entry, preparing attendance for trainings and focus group discussions, pre and post-tests, contracts preparations, receiving documents
  • Keep record of the direct beneficiaries of the project and prepare weekly and monthly reports per the needs of the project.
  • Work in close collaboration with the MEAL department for data collection and data collectors
  • Responsible of maintaining the archiving system up to date (both in hardcopies and electronically).
  • Support the PA in the elaboration of tools for the assessment and follow up of the beneficiaries;
  • Monitor the coaching process and visit periodically the beneficiaries, in close collaboration with the trainers and under the supervision of the PC;
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the integrated approach of the program;
  • Support the technical team in the examination and distribution of the packages and materials
  • Coordinate with the communication officer in order to properly document activities (Photos, small videos…) aligned with the donor’s requirements and communication guidelines
  • Actively participate in communicating and sharing feedbacks and complaints according to AVSIs FCRM policies and guidelines
  • Perform any other relevant duties within the scope of the project as required.

Reporting to: Project assistant and/or Project Coordinator

 

Essential requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in field coordination, project management, or related roles.
  • Proven experience working in rural or hard-to-reach areas.
  • Proficiency in Kurdish and Arabic

Required skills and experiences:

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Language: English, Arabic and Kurdish
