Position Summary: The Field Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Field Crew program’s goal to carry out challenging conservation projects. They are responsible for providing training, education, program coordination, and leadership to ensure a positive and safe experience for all participants. The Field Coordinator will collaborate with District Staff to hire, manage training, and oversee equipment logistics for the regional field crews.
Relationships: The South District Field Coordinator reports to the South District Manager and works very closely with the South District Assistant Manager.

Additional Information: Travel and overnights are required for Corpsmember training, staff meetings, and outreach events. This position requires significant time at all crew locations, with occasional out-of-town travel for up to 12 days to assist crews with technical projects. The Field Coordinator must also be available for occasional 30-day disaster deployments. While this position is based in Rochester, the employee will spend considerable time out of town in February for program-wide training and orientation. Lodging accommodation is provided.
